STÜSSY BOUCHEROUITE T-SHIRT RUGS

Stüssy has partnered with Artisan Project, a collective of passionate individuals led by Palestinian-American textile designer Nina Mohammad, for a second collection of boucherouite rugs. Using upcycled Stüssy t-shirts and wool from the Atlas Mountains, Mohammad draws inspiration from ancestral rugs, art, vintage graphics, and the beauty of nature – capturing aerial landscapes, bodies of water, and the intricacies of flora. The rugs are woven by the Ain Leuh Women’s Cooperative in Morocco using ancient cultural practices. Each one has a distinctive essence that transcends time and tradition.
